You will never witness a meaner dinosaur. Japanese prodigy aMSa made a huge splash in the Melee community when he attended Evolution 2013 and placed a very impressive 25th place (even taking a game off Mew2King), surprising everyone with his amazingly technical play and mastery of all of Yoshi’s tools, most notably parries, eggs and shield drops. He then followed it up with an incredible 9th place performance at Apex 2014, proving he wasn’t just a fluke. He is a fan favorite not only for his play, but for his cheerful demeanor, positive attitude and sportsmanship.

Salepâte is known for his unorthodox playstyle, impressive reaction time and his amazing powershielding game. Like Baxon he has also been a top French player for quite a long time now. Definitely not a textbook Marth, but a force to be reckoned with.

This Parisian player is one of France’s greatest even though he never travels outside of France. Cyr is considered by many to be Europe’s best Samus, his smart and calculated play having taken him very far on many occasions. An eternal silver medalist, he is said to have a curse of almost always getting 2nd place at French tournaments, often losing to different opponents in Grand Finals. Nevertheless, Cyr is often the one to perform best among the French in European scale events. His secondaries are quite solid, in particular his Falcon which he likes to use in harder matchups or for fun.

After a hiatus from European tournaments, he came back with amazing performance at B.E.A.S.T 4 where he placed 5th and upset many opponents, in particular Rocky and Android.

Däumling is being discussed as Europes #1 Ice Climber player, outplacing his rival Tomber at the last BEAST. Despite his character being labelled as bad in teams Däumlings team game is amazing. And so is his SoPo, one should never consider the stock as done after he managed to get rid of Nana.

Former european top player Pasi has been on hiatus for quite a while now (since the first edition of BEAST to be exact). The current hype around the so called “Platinum Age” brought him back and he is better than ever. He is certainly an underdog for this tournament but also an extremely smart player that can adapt really fast.

The so called “Beast from Sweden” used to be former Melee world champion until he retired after APEX 2013. Coming out of retirement for BEAST4 he had to pass the crown of Sweden (and Europe) to his nemesis Leffen who defeated Armada 3-0 and 3-1 in Grand Finals. Armada is eager to get the crown back and claim his spot for MLG Anaheim.

After an impressive showing at APEX 2014 and winning BEAST4 Leffen needs to prove that he is worthy of being Europes #1. However that is not enough. His goal is to win MLG, EVO and CEO and he needs to get at least 2nd place in order to qualify for MLG Pools Play, since he won’t be able to attend any other qualifiers.

Android spent many years under the shadow of his older brothers Armada and Aniolas, but he has recently proven to be a threat of his own by placing 7th at the last two B.E.A.S.T tournaments. He sports strong fundamentals and a great understanding of the game and matchups. Android is also excellent at teams like his brother, where he displays an incredible ability to recognize situations and support his team mates.

One of Europe’s greatest players of all time, Amsah was for a long time considered the second best in the continent. Because he’s only been attending tournaments in his home country recently, seeing him in Paris is a rare occasion. Faab aka Virusbluemage aka Europe’s biggest troll is also one of Holland’s finest players. His very slow, strange yet methodical Falco play has often led him to top 8’s at European tournaments and he is considered by many to be a specialist in floatie matchups such as Peach.
